3 Anti-Aging Oil Recipes

essential oils for anti aging products

Hey! There's nothing wrong with wrinkles. Aging is literally the most natural thing any living creature can do. I have wrinkles, and it's cool. No beef here. But if you wanna keep it a little tight, here are some recipes with essential oils that I think work wonderfully.

First, let's start with a basic recipe for a face serum for those fine lines.

Mix all ingredients together in a small glass bottle, and apply a few drops to your face and neck every night before bed. Frankincense is great for promoting cell regeneration, lavender helps to reduce redness and inflammation, and geranium balances the skin's natural oils.

Next, it's facemask time! I love facemasks and creating one with oils was super fun!

  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt
  • 2 drops of carrot seed essential oil
  • 2 drops of rosehip seed essential oil

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl, and apply to your face for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry. Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it helps to keep your skin hydrated, while yogurt is packed with lactic acid to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin. Carrot seed essential oil is high in antioxidants and is known to help improve the skin's elasticity, while rosehip seed oil is a powerful anti-aging oil that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

And last but not least, let's make an anti-aging body oil. You'll need:

  • 4 ounces of carrier oil (I recommend coconut oil)
  • 10 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil
  • 10 drops of sandalwood essential oil

Mix all ingredients together in a glass bottle, and massage into your skin every night before bed. Ylang-ylang essential oil is known to improve the skin's elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while sandalwood essential oil helps to hydrate and soothe dry, irritated skin.

That was fun! Three easy recipes for anti-aging skin products that you can make at home using essential oils. And remember, age is just a number, but wrinkles are a fact of life, so it's best not to worry about them too much. Because worry causes wrinkles, OH NO ITS A NEVER ENDING FEEDBACK LOOP OF WRINKLES!
